Notes: post "Blood and Dust". So I know I still have the collection I'm still working on, the fics about episode 14. And I had other fics that I also planned on writing that take place; one set between ExU and Campaign 3, and one set after ExU: Kymal. But then I got this little idea after Thursday's episode, and...well, I just had to go for it. It might be a bit rough since I wrote it so quickly though, so my apologies for that.

Summary: Fearne fastens the tooth to the ribbon, creating a necklace that she holds out to Dorian. "Just for you to remember us and the adventures that we've had. In case, you know, something bad happens and we never see each other again."

Dorian chuckles softly, a touched smile on his face as he takes the necklace. "It is entirely possible. But I'll tell you this...." he continues as he loops the necklace over his head, "If for some reason this tooth ever falls off, there's no way I would ever forget you."

Notes: pending "In Too Deep". I know it's been a while since the last one. I didn't forget, I swear, things just got busy quite suddenly. But I definitely do plan on continuing this. At least to get through the rest of Bells Hells.

For this particular one, there were some ideas that I meant to include in the conversation with Imogen, but it didn't quite work out. And it made more sense for Dorian to talk about these insecurities with Orym anyway.

On the flip side to the previous fic, I had written this as pretty platonic between these two. But if you wanna read it as shippy, by all means. I'm not here to police anyone.

Summary: Time continues to trickle by, each passing hour bringing the Wyvernwind Brothers closer and closer to their departure.

Notes: pending "In Too Deep". So I'm a bit of a late critter to Critical Role. I've never seen any of Vox Machina, and I've only really seen clips and highlight videos of Mighty Nein. Bells Hells started as also just watching clips and highlights too, but my brother and I have been recently trying to catch up with Campaign 3 in earnest. Once we've actually gotten caught up, we're planning on catching up with all the ExU videos as well. Especially because I absolutely love Dorian, and I need as much as I can get of this stupid blue bard haha.

In the meantime, I also just keep rewatching the end of episode 14, because I guess I'm just a masochist I don't know, but that's how I got the idea for these fics. At first I was just going to write just one fic, but then it started branching out into several things, so I decided to just make them into a collection. They're not necessarily connected stories, they're just little moments between Dorian and some of the others that I wanted to explore. I haven't thought of moments with each individual member of Bells Hells just yet, though I'm hoping to come up with something for everyone. But I also have a few things planned that might be a little more unexpected. Here's hoping I'll be able to write them up, heh.

This fic was the original idea I had, and it was intended to be a bit longer. But it started getting a little clunky, and I couldn't get certain ideas to flow right, so I trimmed it down. I think this turned out pretty okay.

Also, I did kind of intend for this to be a bit shippy, just because I do think Dorian/Imogen is really sweet. But it can be read as entirely platonic if you prefer, which is why I didn't actually tag them as a ship. However you want to interpret it is up to you.

Notes: some violence, some blood and injuries. Yet another fandom I never expected to write for. But I got interested after watching Sideways' video about Cats on YouTube, and then another channel put up the entire 1998 film for a limited time, and I kept listening to a couple songs because they're too damn catchy, and then I started reading fics, and now here I am. I ended up with a lot of feelings about Rum Tum Tugger in particular, especially with popular fanon about him, Munkustrap, and Macavity being brothers, and them being Old Deuteronomy's sons. And yes, I am also Tuggoffelees trash.

But I found myself wanting to do a Brothers fic, specifically with Macavity. I've read different interpretations of him, and I wondered how to write him as brotherly while still being...well, himself. So I experimented with it, and while I had a couple scenes in mind the story kind of ran away from me and took on a life of its own. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the ending, but I didn't think I could really mess with it any more.

Just a few things to note: I kind of headcanon that not all dogs are Pollicles, kind of like how not all cats are Jellicles; it doesn't really come up but I treat Mr. Mistoffelees as more of a stage name, so he's referred to as Quaxo throughout the fic; I also imagine the cats as literal cats, but kind of like how cats are in the Studio Ghibli movie, "The Cat Returns". So they can stand and walk on their hind legs and hold stuff with their paws when humans aren't looking, but they're still very much cats.

The title is based on a lyric from the song "Manipulate" by NateWantstoBattle.

Summary: One good deed wasn't always enough to turn an entire life around. It's just enough to really confuse the heck out of others, though.
